Trying Out BCC Rides

1. Visitors: If you are visiting in the area and already have an Ontario Cycling Club membership with another club, you are welcome to join us for up to three rides.  At least 24 hours before you join a group, you must first contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinators, Trevor O’Donnell or Trevor Wilcox to inform them of your intent to join a ride. You are required to show proof of OC Club membership before joining a ride.

2. New to group riding: You are required to come to the Wednesday night “Learn to Group Ride” sessions (1st line of Oro Township, Rail Trail Parking lot, 6:30 roll out so arrive by 6:15 at the latest).  You can do up to two of the first 8 Wednesday sessions for free (May 7, 14, 21, 28, June 4, 11,18,25) before joining BCC as a full member, but to do the free sessions you must register before joining BCC as a full member (See calendar on website for dates), but you must register and complete the online waiver at least 24 hours beforehand and then contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinators, Trevor O’Donnell or Trevor Wilcox to inform them of your intent to join a ride.   This covers the necessary cycling insurance.     

3. New to group riding - After July 2 2025,  anyone interested in trying out the club must complete the online waiver and purchase an OC Club Day Pass,  pay the OC fee of $10 and then contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinators, Trevor O’Donnell or Trevor Wilcox to inform them of your intent to join a ride.  This covers the necessary cycling insurance.

4. Experienced group rider: If you are an experienced group rider, but do not have an Ontario Cycling Club membership, you are welcome to join us for two rides.  You must complete the online waiver and purchase an OC Club Day Pass, pay the OC fee of $10 and then contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader oordinators, Trevor O’Donnell or Trevor Wilcox  to inform them of your intent to join a ride.  This covers the necessary cycling insurance.
